Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using a protected service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. Public documentation may be read without an account.
Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for activity under your account and user-owned API keys. Create a separate key for each client, store it securely, revoke a suspected key promptly, and never expose it in a URL, public prompt, repository, log, or screenshot. You may not share credentials to avoid account limits or impersonate another user.
Credits, limits, and future paid plans
Free accounts currently receive 10,000 Naming Credits per UTC calendar month. Credits are a service allowance, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and do not roll over unless a future written plan says otherwise. Different operations consume different credits based on the published schedule. Zena Labs may adjust free allowances, operation weights, or abuse controls with reasonable product notice.
No paid subscription or credit purchase is enabled today. Future purchases will be governed by the checkout terms, refund policy, taxes, renewal disclosures, and plan limits presented before payment.
Acceptable use
You may not use NamingSignal to violate law or third-party rights; probe, bypass, or defeat authentication, quotas, rate limits, or security controls; resell access without permission; scrape the service; distribute malware; harass or deceive; generate abusive load; or use the service to make automated legal-clearance, purchase, filing, or registration claims that its evidence does not support.
You must not use multiple accounts, keys, IP addresses, or agents to evade a limit. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.
Your inputs and generated output
You retain rights you hold in submitted material and grant Zena Labs the limited permission necessary to process it, operate the requested workflow, secure the service, and store account history under the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit the material.
Names and generated output may be non-exclusive, similar to third-party names, unavailable, culturally unsuitable, or legally risky. Other users or systems may independently receive similar output. You are responsible for final selection, use, registrar verification, spoken and cultural testing, and appropriate legal review.
No legal, trademark, or registrar service
NamingSignal provides preliminary business research and software tooling. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or trademark clearance, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. It does not reserve or purchase domains, claim social handles, contact owners, file applications, or guarantee registration, price, or availability.
Third-party services and links
The service depends on hosting, authentication, database, analytics, model, search, registry, namespace, and registrar providers. Third-party availability, responses, policies, and prices can change. Links are provided for verification and convenience; Zena Labs does not control the linked service or complete a transaction for you.
Beta service and disclaimers
NamingSignal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during preview. To the extent permitted by law, Zena Labs disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Evidence is time-stamped and may become stale.
Limitation and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, Zena Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, goodwill, data, domains, business opportunity, or launch delay arising from the service. Zena Labs' aggregate liability for the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months or USD $100.
You agree to defend and indemnify Zena Labs from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, submitted material, credential misuse, or launch/use of a selected name, except to the extent caused by Zena Labs' own unlawful conduct.
Changes and termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Zena Labs may change or discontinue preview features and may suspend access for security, abuse, nonpayment under a future paid plan, or material breach. Material term changes will update the effective date and may require renewed acceptance.
